Won't Be Coming Back

Attended my first and last LCA game last year for the home opener. Had upper bowl seats. The absolute worst designed plastic seats imaginable. So uncomfortable it was painful. So distracting that the game itself was not remotely enjoyable to view. I am not a large man by any stretch so it be crammed into the width of a seat designed for a 6 year old was beyond maddening. The constant bombardment of lights and non stop over 90 decibels of sheer ear pain from the endless mind numbing sounds of juvenile junk called music, simply ruined the hockey experience for me. Having been a 20 plus year season ticket holder at the Joe when fans came to watch hockey, this new Barnum & Bailey Circus approach that goes on during the game is pure trash! Forget about attending a hockey game at the LCA - it is designed and created to extract excessive about of money from your wallet under the guise of a Detroit Red Wings game. The game and simple pleasures of watching and listening to a live game is gone forever in Detroit.

Not The JOE

everything was great. The arena is nice We loved our seats. Being on the 2nd floor the concessions were quick. News Years Eve with the Wings is always a great time. My only complaint is this. I have been a die hard Wingnut for over 30 years and have been to over 300 games at the Joe. Little Ceasars is not the Joe. The fans are quiet and reservered. the joe was home advantage all the way. Not so much anymore. Hopefully Stevie will turn the product on the ice around and the crazy fan base that used to be will be once again.
